Texas... and more [19 Mar 2005|06:28am] [ mood | awake ] [ music | parrots at it again.. no music ] Ok all, so I have decided to go to Texas. I am figuring this will be a good move all in all for my career (since I cant put in an officer package yet), and from there I will teach. It should be an interesting job since I am a bit weary about staning in front of a bunch of people and teaching, but I guess I am going to just have to Get OVER it! LOL... oh well. And as for Texas, moving there is definitly not my first choice, and as my the Navy and my rate is going, I will have to become an officer or change rates to get away from Texas. I am not all too happy about this but my decision stems from my love for the Navy and I am not ready to get out and do some civilian job (even if they are paying more on the outside, from what I am finding out by attending all these job fairs). What can a sailor do. Meanwhile, I am preparing my house hold goods move for 1 June, so my roommate can move out and I can save some money. This will put me in a limbo, homeless position, and I will be free to go visit people and live on their couches should they let me (hint hint). Back at the ranch.. my art is kicking off.. I got an offer the other day I almost could not refuse but it happened to be on one of my 911 pieces that I just would not be able to replicate. Ugh.. the life of an artist... I so can't win. I will just have to think about it a while. And in the less foreign world, this morning while making tea... I just happened to pour the hot water (straight from the boiling kettle) right on my hand.. ughghhhh.. burrrnnnsss.. still burrrnnnsss... owwwww... so I am dealing with that.. I know what you guys are saying.. the almight bright clutz has done it again.. and I missed it... Oh joke.. new joke... Guess what I heard? ... ... .. . . sheep... haha.. get it herd sheep.. ok that is enough from the comix page.. hope you have a wonderful weekend, I will be here checking my paperwork for my advancement. Wedn [09 Mar 2005|05:31am] [ mood | blah ] [ music | none, the sound of my pilot on the fireplace ] Another day another dollar they say. It is quiet 'froggy' out in Ocean beach today, but can't complain, it is no where near as cold as it normally is. It is about 0530 in the morning and I am bouncing around my regular morning routine, tea/coffee, read some emails, trying to keep in touch wiht everyone and all.... I miss all you folks out there in the world! Wednesday in Ocean Beach (OB) is market day... organic market day, but they have some great fresh fish and there used to be a Chilean lady that made empanadas that I would go to all the time. She is no longer there unfortunatly so now I get tamales more often. I think I need to catch up on some more emails. That and do some more Texas research. I will be transfering to Texas in August. not to happy about it, but gonna have to make the best of it. cc out 1 comment|post comment

Mooonday Morning [07 Mar 2005|05:43am] [ mood | sore ] [ music | none, it's sunrise ] It's Monday and my body aches yet from taking spills on the mountain over the weekend. Went up to the snow and it was a nice and chilly. Got some more practice in though. I was going to go run this morning, but it's still pretty dark so we are going to have to maybe try that later. Getting that tea ready so I can get my brain going, and get to duty muster. Joys of the military. post comment

WELCOME [06 Mar 2005|07:27am] [ mood | relaxed ] [ music | green parrots are screeching.. not music huh? ] Welcome to my new journal, I have decided to keep an online journal because well maybe someone might be interested in reading it and I was curious to see how this all works out. We will see I hope. Right now it is a nice sunday in Sandy Eggo, and I am enjoying my tea, which I once used to do with Tim in Monterey every Sunday, but oh well, what can one do.
